Sorry guys, but I need to take a stroll down memory lane. Not sure how many of you out there remember the good ol' days of Dungeons & Dragons, but I saw these pics out on the net and I couldn't help remembering all of the fun that I had. I wish I could get my hands on this stuff again. For nostalgic reasons if nothing else.
This was how we played back in the day. Enjoy!
LOL, hey Jeff
ReplyDeleteI've got all the same stuff, in fact I have about 15 boxes of those miniatures, I unloaded all my second ed stuff and bunch of those miniatures about 6 mos. ago for pretty good coin. Those were the days- D&D is what got me into miniature wargaming 25 years ago!
if you ever want to get rid of any of it - let me have first crack at an offer.
ReplyDeletethose were great times. I'd like to see your collection in either case. we'll have to set up a WFB game.
I even have the Grenadier Gamma World box set from the same era...those are awesome..I only recall ever playing Gamma World a couple times..anyways -sure whenever you can find time..let me know!
ReplyDeleteI recognize many of those miniatures! In fact, quite a few are in my many mini-storage bins!
ReplyDeleteQUITE A FEW. I've always wanted to play a D&D campaign (even bought 4th edition books) but finding the time to play a game of 40k a month is hard enough...running a weekly campaign as adults is nearly impossible.
Nice post though. The Bluebook D&D cover really took me back!
