Just a little side project. I'm hearing great stuff about Warmachine, so I thought I'd dabble in that a bit. It will be an intermittent side project, but I bought a couple of models, more specifically, the Retribution of Scyrah faction. I'm diggin' this faction, because, well they're elves. But anyway, here's the first model that I painted up...Adeptis Rahn Shyeel, warcaster. I used all GW colors, mostly because I don't own any of privateer press paints. But let me know what you think.
Great choice of colour scheme; understatement works very well on this kind of miniature.

I really like the color choice, as well. I have often thought of starting a Scyrah list, but I've not been comfortable with their default scheme.
ReplyDelete@Carmine: Hmm, not sure I see the Tau in them, per se, but they are definitely the weird, where'd they come from faction.
Nice looking Rhan. He's a lot of fun to play and really tough to play against.

thanks, guys. i wasn't happy with the default colros on scyrah either. I went with GW Hawk Turqouise and Adeptus Battle Grey, with some washes thrown in.

The Hawk Turqoise and the Adeptus Battle Grey are definitely awesome choices, I'd like to use your color scheme for my House Shyeel army I'm starting, and I could use the full list of colors you used and any washes, thanks.
