Strike Force Kantor

As promised, a day early I might add, here's a shot of my 1,000 point Crimson Fist army. Obviously I have some painting to do which I have made plans this weekend to do. The image is crappy due to poor lighting in my work area in the basement. I'll get better shots as the force is completed.

  1. Looking great when they're all together! I should take an army shot of my Crimson Fists...it really shows off the size of the army!

  2. Thanks. Hopefully they'll look better when they're all painted.

  3. I'd like to see your Crimson Fist models. Always interested in seeing a fellow CF hobbyist's work.

  4. Those that are painted look great despite the photo.

  6. Looking good.

I don't know why it is but the few units I have painted in my army always seem to die first while the unpainted guys last the whole game.

Check out my webpage link in my profile. It links to nerdnyc.com page where I'm attempting to keep a log with friends.

  8. Thanks guys. Ron, I usually have the same problem.

Cawshis - Just tried and I can't get on. But I'm at work, so...I'll check it out at home.

  9. I just stumbled on this blog and I wanted to say great work. Oddly enough, I'm also working on 1000 points of Crimson Fists while trying not to give in to a Privateer Press addiction. Great work!

  10. LOL! So am I. I'm really digging the Privateer Press stuff. Check out my Privateer Press blog. The link is on the right: The Caen Chronicles.

Cawshis - saw your stuff, man. They look great! I wondered what the AoBR models would look like painted as CFs. Now I'm going to run out and get me some.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with them considering that I'm just trying to get 1500 points tabletop ready as soon as possible (I want that LR Crusader set my friend and I have up for winning!).

I was amazed at the quality of the marines in the AoBR set. My ork-friends split two boxes, so I wound up with 2 dreads, 10 termies and 20 tacticals...all for 50 bucks (since we ordered the set from thewarstore...it was only 48 a box!). The box is a steal if you can find an ork player to split with (and it wasn't hard since it's the only way to get plastic Deffcoptas!).
